A new-build S.E.N. school in Oxford. The three-storey building consists of teaching rooms across the ground and first floors, main assembly halls and administration offices. The second floor is where you will find a live-in replica home, providing the facilities to teach essential life-skills to the older pupils.
The project comprises natural vent systems, sanitaryware and public health pipework, domestic hot water services, a mid-level boiler plant room supplies heating into the building via a 90+ strong radiator system, the whole building performance monitored by a BMS system. Electrical main distribution throughout the building to local distribution boards, general lighting and power, emergency lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm, complete data infrastructure including diverse fibre optic links to new out-buildings, lighting protection and a significant roof-mounted solar PV installation.
